Carolina Cottages and Hotel is situated right on the shore of Lake Toba at Samosir Island. We are located at the end of a quiet road in a beautiful and lush tropical garden with flowering shrubs and large trees.

Our private beach is one of the best and here you can relax, take a swim or try to catch some fish. We even offer beach service if you would like to drink something or have a meal on our beach. If you like we can arrange a water scooter or in fact anything you would need or like. We can take you on a boat trip, arrange tours and tickets and bring you to Medan with our car or by our own bus, etc.

From most of the rooms of our hotel and from the restaurant you will have a splendid view over Lake Toba and the surrounding mountains. Part of our restaurant is built in traditional Batak style. We offer tasteful dishes in Indonesian, Western as well as Chinese style. In the restaurant area we offer free Wifi, so you can access the internet.
